Candle Care

Step #1:

On your first burn, make sure to allow the wax to melt the full diameter of the candle.

Soy wax has a memory, so you need to provide this path for it to take for the rest of its life.

This process will ensure to avoid “tunnelling” where the candle burns straight down the centre of the container, leaving walls of wax around the edges.

Step #2:

ALWAYS, trim your wick before burning. This will help you keep the flame at the correct height (not too large or small) to burn at the proper throw. This ensures the throw of the candle will stay consistent for every burn.

If you do not have a wick trimmer, a tip is to turn candle upside down and gently crumble charred wood wick away. Ensure no charred wood wick pieces fall into wax before lighting.

Step #3:

Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

This will prevent the container from getting too hot, which not only makes your candle burn through faster, but also becomes a potential fire hazard… can’t get too lit.
